Packing fragile items

Fragile items need more than a hopeful “FRAGILE” sticker. Prepare them properly before the van arrives.

• Use double-walled boxes and plenty of paper or bubble wrap.
• Fill empty spaces so nothing rattles.
• Mark boxes “fragile” and “this way up” on multiple sides.
• Carry jewellery, documents and irreplaceable items yourself.
• Photograph high-value pieces before packing for your records.
